Approach
Four stages. One accountable party.
Renewable projects fail in the handovers: between the developer and the engineer, the engineer and the contractor, the contractor and the operator. Primelux removes the handovers. The team that models the yield is the team that builds the plant and answers for its output.
Primelux / Approach
01
Assess
Before anyone commits capital we establish what the site can actually do. Irradiance history from local measurement, not global averages. Terrain, flood risk and geotechnics. Distance and capacity at the grid connection point. Land tenure and permitting pathway. The result is a yield model with stated uncertainty and a constraints list nobody has to discover later.
Deliverable Feasibility report, bankable yield estimate, constraints register, indicative capital cost. Gate Go or no-go on the site.
02
Engineer
Layout optimised for yield per unit of capital, not for symmetry. Tracker and module selection, string and inverter design, storage sizing against the offtake profile, substation and grid works, single-line diagrams and the specification every supplier will be held to. Everything is dimensioned for the site's measured dust, heat and wind, and every assumption traces back to the assessment.
Deliverable Detailed design package, procurement specifications, updated yield model, construction programme. Gate Design freeze and financial close.
03
Build
Procurement against specification, civil works, mechanical installation, DC and AC electrical works, storage integration, substation and connection, then commissioning and grid acceptance. One programme, one site team, one party answering for schedule, quality and safety.
Telemetry is live at handover, not bolted on afterwards. String-level monitoring, soiling-driven cleaning, preventive maintenance and a performance guarantee measured against the model from stage one. Owners and lenders see the same numbers we see.
The yield model, the design, the build and the operation are ours. When output falls short there is no one to point at, which is precisely why it rarely does.
Honesty
Constraints first
The feasibility report leads with what is wrong with the site. A plant financed on optimistic assumptions is a plant that underperforms for twenty-five years.
Measurement
Against the model, not the mood
Every stage produces numbers that trace back to the assessment. Performance is judged against what was promised at financial close, in the same units.
Next step
Start at stage one.
Send us the site. The assessment is where every good project begins and every bad one should have ended.
